About Us

Petsburgh was founded in February 2008 with a website and India’s first Mobile Pet Grooming Van in Mumbai. The force behind the success of the company has always been genuine love for all kinds of pets. Starting by catering to the needs of Andrea’s two beautiful Golden Retrievers - Blip and Tinker-bell, Petsburgh became known as a holistic space offering all kinds of products and service for pets. Every product and service offered at Petsburgh has always been well thought out and personally tested by the staff and management before making it available for pet parents.

Our founder and Principal, Andrea Cyrill Khurana, is a well-respected figure in the International pet grooming industry with almost 35 years experience handling and showing dogs. She is a multiple award winner in grooming competitions in India and abroad, International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG) from IPG, USA;  Internationally certified Grooming Instructor, from Australia and Malaysia, mentor to groomers from all over the globe with over 500 successful grooming students, and Founder and President of the Professional Pet Groomer’s Association, India (PPGAI). Andrea is also a qualified veterinary assistant and has received her first-aid certification from Pet Medics, Australia and The American Kennel Club, USA.  Her passion and motivation helps drive her students and  teammates to excel in their roles and keep an open mind towards always learning new skills and upgrading themselves to the needs of the pets in our care.

The team at Petsburgh Academy is a group of motivated pet lovers whose common goal is to make the world a better place for pets. All our grooming team members have been personally trained under Andrea. Our courses offer a comprehensive mix of safety and style, with knowledge accumulated from across the globe and specially curated to fit the Indian market through our in-depth knowledge and personal experience over the years. We believe in always supporting each other and helping each other to grow and reach their true potential. We are an inclusive brand and are proud to be supportive regardless of any social norms. This labor of true love has been instrumental in making the company what it is today and this is an ideology that we encourage among our students as well.
